Image Intensifier Assembly for low light level scientific imaging

The VS4-1845 Image Intensifier is a high resolution Blue GEN III Micro-Channel Plate (MCP) image intensifier optically coupled using high efficiency lenses for use in very low light level imaging. The VS4-1845 is coupled to user's camera through a C-Mount thread.

The output format is adjusted for either a 2/3", 1/2" or 1" format. The use of the special GEN III (OMNI IV) image intensifier in the VS4-1845 results in a response over three times higher at the Blue-Green wavelengths and with 50% higher resolution than other MCP intensifiers.

The intensifier tube is pre-adjusted for high gain and uniform output brightness. An intensifier control module allows full computer control of the gain, gate, and gate delay of the intensifier through an RS-232 interface

The VS4-1845 is designed for use in applications where rigorous quantification of the intensity and location of lower light level objects are required as in scientific application
