By "standard frame-rate", we are referring to all imaging applications that
are not "high speed". This includes slow frame-rate (<10 fps) cameras,
video rate (24/30/33 fps) cameras, and cameras running at a few hundred fps
with good sensitivity*.
*The sensitivity of an intensifier-camera combo depends on the sensitivity
of the camera. As the camera's frame-rate increases (thus reducing its
exposure time/frame), the brightness required by the camera to produce a
good image increases, too. Our standard frame-rate intensifiers (VS4-1845
and VS4-1845XR) can support cameras running up to 200 fps. Although we have
seen cameras with exceptional sensitivity getting 500 fps out of these
"standard frame-rate" intensifiers.
