New Product Feature
Bright
Input (Over-Exposure)
Protection Circuit
All VSI Image
Intensifier Assemblies and Intensified Cameras running at less than 30 fps
are equipped with our new bright input (over-exposure) protection circuit.
The intensifier automatically turns off when input brightness is high
enough to be harmful to the intensifier. The user has to manually
reset the unit to resume operation. This allows the user an
opportunity to adjust the input brightness.
This feature is not
installed in intensified high speed cameras or intensifier assemblies for
high speed cameras. Nor is it built into 3ns gated, MHz gated or
short burst gated units due to performance conflicts.
The bright input
protection circuit is designed to help avoid accidental over-exposure. It
does not warrant the intensifier from damages caused by over-exposure.
